#1 Most Recommend  – Nectar Mattress Review – 365-day trialNectar Mattress Reviews

For stomach sleepers and back sleepers, this is the perfect mattress, I do sleep in all positions and I find side sleeping can be comfortable, but only if you switch it up throughout the night. I also must point out that lighter people may find the Nectar mattress too firm as the layers do not react as quickly.

The Nectar mattress offers a very well rounded product which provides both comfort and support with very little motion transfer and fantastic pressure relief and support. The build is similar to that of the Tempur-pedic range, a more traditional memory foam mattress with a few added features, such as the quilted gel layer.

When comparing to other bed in the box companies, notably the Nectar mattress comes with a significantly more dense and durable high-density foam, which is probably why Nectar can confidently boast about their 365-day trial.

Saatvasaatva mattress review

Compared to many mattress brands, Saatva is an old-time brand, an experienced and skilled company which has been manufacturing and selling their luxury mattresses for many years now. They’ve also branched out and launched a sister company Loom & Leaf who also sits in our most recommended section which really vouches for how good they are.

Saatva offers a euro pillow top mattress which includes 5 layers at a 14.5-inch thickness and this comes in a variety of firmness levels including a soft, medium and firm which we rate 3, 6 and 8 out of 10 in firmness.

Your mattress is one of the most important purchases you will ever make. It is where you will spend an average of 25 years of your life, so selecting a mattress is not a decision to be made lightly. When you are in the market for a new mattress, it is often helpful to review all of the best-rated brands available on the market. Looking into the best mattresses of 2016 can help you choose the best mattress that suits your needs. Using customer reviews, ratings and purchase statistics from the web, you can see the top rated mattresses 2016 had to offer and use that as a guide to making your mattress purchase.

To be considered the 2016 best mattress, several types of criteria were met by these mattresses. They were overwhelmingly given positive reviews and emitted low to no odors from off-gassing, a process that customers experience from most memory foam mattresses. Each best-rated mattress of 2016 exhibited something that made it stand out from the rest, whether it was superior comfort levels or cutting edge technology through open cell use or even plant materials. The best memory foam mattresses of 2016 also shared a similar unifying quality: consistent purchases throughout the year.

Note: we’ve just reviewed one of the latest mattresses to hit the shelves of Amazon, the Eve mattress – read our review here!

Signature Sleep Contour Independently Encased Coil Mattress

Among the top rated mattresses 2016 saw, the Signature Sleep Contour Independently-Encased Coil Mattress was the most popular. The model combines layers of foam to surround its individually wrapped coils to provide comfort and support while minimizing movement transfer between sleepers. It is made with CertiPUR-US certified foam that is free of harmful chemicals and additives like flame retardants, ozone depleters, mercury, lead and heavy metals. It supports healthy indoor air quality with a low VOC emission. The mattress scored 4.5 out of 5 stars out of 5,575 mattress ratings in 2016.

Among the reasons why the Signature Sleep Contour Mattress was selected as a top rated memory foam mattress of 2016 was its ability to conform to the body and create a custom restful sleep. It creates an equal weight distribution for sleepers to help alleviate pressure point pain and eliminate sleep problems like restlessness, discomfort, and insomnia. Like many memory foam products, it is shipped rolled and compressed to make a tight, compact package. This makes it easy to carry, fit inside your home and unfurl for use. It fully expands after opening within a few hours to days to its full size.

Home Life Comfort Sleep Mattress

Mattress reviews in 2016 included the Home Life Comfort Sleep Mattress as one of the favorite mattresses of the year. Like the Signature Sleep model, this mattress combines layers of quality foam and polyester with coils to maintain both support and comfort, combining the “best of both worlds” from both spring and memory foam models. Hybrid mattresses were considered the best mattresses of 2016. Although it has no weight limit, individuals up to 250 pounds were able to sleep on the mattress comfortably. The Home Life Mattress averaged 4.2 stars out of 5 when reviewed by 708 buyers.

The Home Life Mattress is famous for not squeaking, avoiding a common complaint among mattress reviewers. It contains 15-gauge pocket coils that are independently pocketed to help avoid motion transfer during sleep. The 480 coils are made of tempered steel for the strongest support available. Reviewers compared the product to more expensive memory foam mattresses on the market and said that they could not detect a difference between products save for a much more affordable price with this product. It is also shipped with the most cutting edge compression technology for easy handling.

Sleep Master Ultima Comfort Memory Foam Mattress

CertiPUR – US certification, quality BioFoam and body conforming memory foam helped to make the Sleep Master Ultima Comfort Memory Foam Mattress a choice for best memory foam mattress of 2015. As companies find more ingredients in nature that benefit human health, they add them to products for an improved quality of life. That is why the Sleep Master model uses the latest technology to replace traditional petroleum used in mattress making with natural plant oil to help protect your health and preserve the fresh quality of the mattress. The result is a fresher, cooler and more comfortable product.

One mattress review of 2016 dubbed the Sleep Master Ultima Comfort Memory Foam Mattress as “similar to Tempur-Pedic.” Others issued similar statements, saying that they could not believe a product like this was on the market for such an affordable rate. The mattress’s affordability and similar nature to a Tempur-Pedic contributed to its 4.5 out of 5 stars rating issued by 3,450 customers. The mattress is also shipped using the company’s patented “smartly shipped” technology, which involves rolling and compressing the product for the easiest transportation and simplest installation.

LUCID Memory Foam Dual-Layered Mattress

When reviewing the best mattress brands of 2016, you will likely run across the LUCID brand. LUCID’s Memory Foam Dual-Layered Mattress is considered the best foam mattress of 2016 by many customers. The model consists of a polyurethane foam base and a memory foam comfort layer that supports the body while providing the best comfort that modern technology can offer. It does this through the use of open cell technology, which promotes airflow and prevents overheating, the most common issue with memory foam. It averages 4.1 out of 5 stars in the best mattress in 2015 reviews by 2,618 customers.

Customers who wanted a medium firm to feel turned to the LUCID mattress, which is softer than the extra firm mattresses. Its core foam layer is designed to keep your spine aligned correctly through the night, balancing your weight evenly and alleviating pressure point pain and other sleep-related discomfort. It comes with a soft velour cover to help make its care and cleaning process as simple as possible. The mattress also comes with a 25-year warranty to provide consumers with peace of mind and confidence in their purchase. It is also a latex free mattress, making it a good choice for people with latex allergies.

Zinus Memory Foam Green Tea Mattress

Hundreds of consumers rated the Zinus Memory Foam Green Tea Mattress as the best mattress of 2016. Not many mattresses contain the unique antioxidant,  green tea. It is added in the Zinus Memory Foam mattress to help maintain freshness, one of the many reasons why it was a best-rated memory foam mattress of 2015 for so many buyers. It is built with several inches of memory foam as well as comfort foam and airflow high-density form to help prevent overheating during sleep. It all rests on a thick layer of high-density base support foam to keep your body well supported and prevent mattress breakdown.

Like the other top mattresses of 2016, the Zinus Memory Foam mattress with green tea offers body contouring support for the best pressure point relief and comfort. It comes with a worry-free 10-year warranty to ensure that every customer enjoys a quality product. The mattress has an average score of 4.6 stars out of 5 after being reviewed by 977 buyers. Customers dubbed it a “side sleeper’s delight” and “the best sleep” they had experienced in years. Most noted that while similar to other memory foam products they were familiar with, it did not carry a price tag as hefty or a smell as strong as competitors.

After looking at the reviews, ratings and product descriptions of the best mattress reviews of 2016, you should have an idea about which mattress will work best for what you require. Keep in mind that there are many different preferences for types of mattresses, ranging from extra firm to extra soft, so some of the best-rated mattresses of 2015 may not work as well for you as others. Consider where you will use the mattress and who will be using it before you make this important decision. You may also be interested in the environmental impact of your mattress to ensure that it is a healthy choice.

Your budget and health requirements should also be considered when you buy a mattress. When you have severe allergies, you might want to look more closely at the memory foam mattress reviews of 2016 that mention hypoallergenic designs. Many memory foam mattresses offer protection against dust mites and other allergens, preventing the harmful substances from invading your mattress and impacting your health. No matter what kind of mattress you are considering, you should also always feel free to contact the mattress maker to ask any questions that you have about the product you want.

On a final note, be sure always to follow the directions sent with your mattress to ensure that it meets or exceeds your expectations. Some mattresses require opening within 72 hours of delivery, days of airing out to expand to full size and custom care instructions, like avoiding getting the mattress wet. When you buy one of the best memory foam mattresses of 2016, keep in mind that they also cannot be flipped like a standard spring mattress due to the layers of foam present in the product.
