Because the pocketed coils are located on the bottom layer of the mattress, any motion that they pick up is absorbed by the foam layers. Pain Relief and Support

Off Gassing

Off-gassing refers to the smell that a new mattress emits. This is a problem that is often associated with mattresses that are made of foam materials, as the chemicals that are used during the production of the foam tend to have an odor.

With the Sleeping Duck mattress, off gassing is not an issue at all. We didn’t notice any odor coming from the mattress, and in fact, we were able to start using it as soon as it took its shape after unpacking it.

Intimacy

Hybrid mattresses are known for providing a nice level of bounce, and the Sleeping Duck mattress is no exception. The latex on the top layer is exceptionally responsive, even when a lot of pressure is applied to it. The pocketed coils at the base also add to the bounce that the mattress provides. As a result, activities that are intimate in nature can easily be enjoyed on the Sleeping Duck.

We would like to point out that while the Sleeping Duck mattress does offer great bounce, it doesn’t impact the overall comfort, as the mattress does a great job of preventing the transfer of motion.
