The Top Layer

Lying on the back, we noticed that our weight was spread evenly throughout the mattress. We also noted that there was very little sinkage; about 1.5 inches, if that. This means that the Novosbed offers ideal support for the back sleeper, making it a comfortable sleeping surface.

Stomach
Stomach sleepers will also enjoy sleeping on the Novosbed mattress. Sinkage was low on the stomach, and it will prevent you from feeling as if you are being sucked into it and trapped. The mattress also provides proper support for the spine while sleeping on the back, reducing any pain that you may experience.

Side
While lying on the side, we noticed a bit more sinkage than we did when we were lying on our back; the mattress sank about 2 inches, or maybe a little more. This increased sinkage is due to the fact that more of your weight is placed on one area when you are sleeping on your side. Despite this, the Novosbed mattress offers excellent support and comfort for the side sleeper.

Bed Frame Compatibility
Though you could technically use the Novosbed mattress with any bed frame, we suggest you use a solid foundation or one that has evenly spaced slates that aren’t more than three inches apart.
